F250 instrument cluster and steering wheel bulb replacement
I found one thread in FTE regarding replacing instrument cluster bulbs but the solution was to contact Circuit Board Medics. Has anyone attempted to do this themselves? I have one dark area on the right side of the tach and another dark area on the left side of the speedo. Probably the same bulb that's out.
Also, have anyone attempted to replace the bulbs (assuming its a bulb and not a fiber optic of some sort) in the steering wheel volume and fan controls?
Thanks for your help

Thanks for that tip Pocketlint. I'm new to the world of forums and I'm learning.
Is it best to start that thread over again, with my vehicle details, so that others will see it? Or will people see my reply to you and, hopefully, offer a possible solution?
Thanks again.

If you're just replacing the bulbs and not trying to upgrade to LED lighting, then you can pop the existing bulbs out of the sockets and replace them with E74 bulbs. I'd recommend replacing all of them while the cluster is out so that you're not doing this again too soon. Let us know if you need anything else.
