looking for brake drums (or disc conversion?) for B500 (same as F500?)

i'm trying to put the front axle from a 1968 Ford B500 (short bus) under a 1960 Mercury M500 short bus.

I'm having trouble finding front brake drums : Part No. B7Q1125A
Stamp on the drum reads: BUDD 84617
Are these the same as a F500?
The 1968 Ford VIN: B50CCD51289
Is there a disc brake conversion kit for this size axle?

-The 1960 Mercury short bus now has 500+ ft lbs of torque, 500+ hp in its stroked FE engine (390 is now 455 cu.in). The original drums and shoes on the Merc were Tiny, i scored the '68 ford short bus for a song, hoping to use it's front axle and larger drum brakes.

thanks eh

Budd numbers 84617 and 85149 both cross over to Ford part number C3TZ1125B. Which was mixed with C3TZ1125M. 14" x 2.5" Brakes. (73/79 F100/500,LT-1,section11,page 4)

C3TZ1125B:
Premium Listings

Obsolete Reliable Parts

Part Number:C3TZ-1125-B
Seller:Obsolete Reliable Parts
Description:FRONT BRAKE DRUM
Phone (229) 686-5101
Price:Request PricingEmail:Send Seller Email Inquiry
Quantity:1
Location:Nashville, Georgia Map & Directions
Part Type:NOS

No Dealer or NOS company has any C3TZ1125M. C3TZ1125M was identified by Budd #95725 or Dayton number 03-120588. So you might call your local Napa, O'reillys, a-z, etc. with those numbers.
Note, B7Q1125A was identified by number 120704. Wrong muchacho.

See post #2.
True. But OP lead you down the wrong trail. In post #1 he said:

Stamp on the drum reads: BUDD 84617.

Budd 84617 is C3TZ1125B. Mixed with C3TZ1125M. EDITING HERE. Bill, if you catch this please post the 73/79 LT page I referenced in post #3 so OP can see it. Thanks.

I remember C3TZ-1125-M because Coberly Ford, then Crenshaw had the U-Haul account.

Both dealers had parts pullers, so I didn't have to heft those drums, they weigh a ton!

The brake guy at Coberly was nicknamed the "razor." He was harder than hell to get along with.

I found out a coupla years ago that an FTE SoCal chapter member married his daughter!

I edited (erased) post #2, referred the OP to your post #3.

Those part #'s bring back fond memories of when I was a school bus mechanic at 18 years old on some 68 through 72 b-500's through b-700's. Those were the days. Brake drums and shoes were much smaller then than they are today.
