syb-25 camshaft for 94 f150 302 , seller is asking 50$ canadian. good buy or should i save for something better, truck is a speed density and would like to be used for towing and plowing in the winter? thought it might be a steal of a deal until i can get something better

 

The stock cam in that motor is about as good as it gets for the displacement and your intended uses. If you want to maximize low-mid torque add 1.7 rockers and longtube headers with a single 2.5" exhaust system.

 

Thanks that is what I was expecting to hear. I have all the pipes and the long tubes. A friend of mine works for an auto recycling shop and hes got a 5.0l explorer lined up for my project. will have the heads machined and add some new valve springs and roller rockers to go along with the new set up in the spring.
