Oil in the Valley

Need a bit of help! I pulled the fuel pump, replaced all the o rings, hoses, etc. and a new o ring on the shaft. Reinserted the pump and I'm getting oil in the valley. I pulled the pump again and changed out the o ring but I'm still getting oil in the valley. I feel the o ring is not seating properly - Am I missing something? Any body got any ideas on how or why this is happening ? The HPOP is not leaking nor is the pedestal. The oil is directly below the pump. Thanks.

Have you checked all your high pressure oil rail plugs? The lines sometimes get weak and with you messing around you could have tweaked one.

Are you sure it is oil and not dirty fuel?

There is a weep hole in the pump. Your pump may be done. There isn't any oil pressure at the pump so I don't think it is oil.

clean it up real good under there and then dust with some flour and aim for the wet spots
