fitting recommendations on a Tru-Cool Max 40k cooler

Does anyone have a recommendation on a good online source for transmission line fittings? The fittings on the Tru-Max (intended for a 7.3) are 3/8" whereas the lines and fittings on my 6.0 with the 5R110 are 1/2". We cobbled something together to adapt the coolers odd flair to a 1/2" barb but can't get it to stop leaking so need to up the game.

Specifically it's a 3/8" inverted flare to a 1/2" barb with a hose clamp. I don't know much about them but would an ACN fitting of some type work better? I'd like to maintain the 1/2" hose and factory piping under the van with as fewrestrictions down to 3/8" as possible.

There isn't a decent hydraulic specialty store here in town.
