2003 6.0 HUGE Fuel dump issue.

I have a 2003 F350 6.0 Lariat Crew Cab long bed. I have had a fuel leak issues for about 2 weeks now. The first fuel leak issue was from the blue spring regulator. I was going to change the part this friday. Well i just drove to get food and back to the house was onlu gone for 15 to 20 mins amd never cut the truck off. So i got back home and parked the truck and i cut it off and got out and all of a sudden i here this noise like you hear when a tire has a hole in it and its leaking air out then all of a sudden i hear fuel just pouring out and smoke coming out of the hood. Its night time here where i live so i cant get up under the truck to see exactly what is going on. But i did check to see if it was the regulator housing and it didnt look like any of the fuel lines was leaking that i could see. Any pointers?

Trying to diagnose something like this is about as easy as landing a feather on an aircraft carrier under full power.
It sounds like a pretty good leak if the smoke is coming from the fuel leak, this tells us it is spraying or landing on something hot i.e. an exhaust manifold.
Your best bet will be to have someone turn the key on and look for the leak up near the engine somewhere. It should be pretty visible if it was causing smoke, unless the smoke was something else.

Turn the key on while you check the engine bay area

Force it to leak

don't start truck just key on you have like 30 seconds while pump on each time to chase
