Really not going to get anywhere with this question....

Cracked up pipe? Blown intercooler boot? Bad VGT solenoid?

What does it sound like? Notice any loss in power?

If the shafts isn't turning by hand then you're not building boost so it's going to be a dog. I would not run it. Look on Craigslist locally for a used one or wait until you have the monies for a new one.
Just as important is if you have the old steel braided pressure feed line to the turbo replace it with the updated hardline. Also replace the drain tube with the updated one.
Something made it fail, either one could of been the culprit to seize a turbo.

What year is the truck you have a 2017 listed and I know that they did not
have any 6.0Ls in that year.

Hit this guy up over on Ebay His name is Eric and he has good prices and
a few of the guys have gotten things from him and are happy.

vampkittykat on eBay

Send him a message letting him know what you want.
In the past I have picked up a turbo,New style oil feed and a mount.
What he does is decommission E-series Emergency Service vans and some trucks.
So he has a lot of part that are not listed in the auctions. But like I said if you don't
see what your after send him a message.

I don't know your willingness or capabilities but if you remove the turbo and disassemble it you could purchase a rebuild kit to recondition it yourself. Of course all depending on the extent of any damage to the shaft and blades.

Anybody know if a 05 turbo will work 100% on my 03?
I was told the 03 is different from the other 6.0s

3C3Z-6K682-CCRM /Turbocharger1F350; 6.0L DIESEL; TO 9/22/03

4C3Z-6K682-CDRM /Turbocharger1F350; 6.0L DIESEL; FROM 9/22/03

IIRC the mounting bolts are configured differently so you would need the pedestal too. I would avoid it and get the correct one. Depends on your build date and if the engine is original to begin with.

This is also another option, and a number of smaller diesel shops offer this new turbo around the same price.

You can use a newer turbo on an '03, you just need the newer pedestal and an intake manifold without the crossover. The turbo Jack references is a new direct replacement for the '03.

The 03' has fewer fins and gives a good whistle, some guys swapped to the turbo just for the sound. It does have a bigger AR ratio as well for a tad more performance, as mentioned, use the 03' pedestal to make it fit.
