Hi I've found some pretty helpful stuff I got my truck about a week ago. The previous owner had run it on straight water so I drained and filled with antifreeze figured the water pump would be going out soon so I changed it. They were running it with no thermostat so I replaced that as well. The thermostat housing was a rusted mess, and it is highly deformed, but I am unable to find a new one (the AutoZone here in Mexico). Is there any other yea/model Ford car/truck I could use? I've got the 302.

Try somewhere else than Autozone.........my experience is that most of the kids working at them have no interest in helping anyone that doesn't have a Honda with a sewer pipe exhaust .........LOL

Hahaha yes I've experienced that. Thing is mexico isn't all that rich in automotive supply stores, AutoZone is basically king here and they have no online parts places either I may have to end up ordering it from the states.

Not sure where you are in Mexico, but Bardahl is all over Baja Norte. There are also several large refaccionarias in Mexicali

I've seen a lot of good-looking dentsides in Northern Mexico. Far more than Chevys

Y bienvenidos a FTE!

Ps-there's no shortage of junkyards in northern Mexico-a great source for parts
