I have a 2013 Ford Explorer with My Ford Touch, and I got a new phone. I have a problem within the last week where when someone calls me the call will only work if i switch the call from hands free to the handset and back.

Otherwise the caller on both sides (myself included) does not hear audio.

There is no update for sync or the iPhone.

I am lost-

 

Hey mikereidjr,

Try a master reset on the vehicle, as well as, resetting the phone. Once, both have been reset, pair the phone back with a clean connection. To reset the phone, press the circle button and power button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. We have done all of that, we have even reset all network connections.

This just started in the last week or so.

 

Please PM the VIN so I can take a look at the vehicle info.

Did it ever work with that phone ?

If so, what changed since it did work ?

 

No it did not, the car is going into the dealer today, nothing changed as far as I know-

 

My 13 taurus does sane thing..subscribing

 

So we took it to the dealer and they upgraded the my ford touch software and the problem is gone.

There was no update for the actual sync module, it appears it was a software thing.

 

dang - I was waiting for an update and now wish I had brought ours in before the warranty ran out...
