tires and wheels for my Ford F250 2003

I have an F250 4x4 that is not lifted. It has fender flares and I am looking to put new wheels and tires on it. Will I be alright with a 16x10 wheel and a 305R70/16 tire? Should I use an offset of -12?

I'm pretty sure that set up is going to rub on a stock front end. Stock wheels are 7" wide and stock tires are roughly 10.5". And the negative offset of the wheels or looking at will make them stick out further also. When my truck was stock it had 17x9 0 offset wheels with 285/75 and it rubbed a little bit. But those tires where maybe 1" taller but about a 1" skinnier.

Here's my old F250 with 285-75-18 Toyo's on 18x8" wheels. I installed a 2" leveling kit in the front, rear was stock. The front tires did rub a bit at full turn.

The factory offset is +6 on a 7.5" wheel, so you are moving the wheel about 18mm of neg offset. In turn, you are running a 10" wheel, which will add 1.25" of width to each side of the wheel where the offset is measured. 1.25" back towards the springs is 31.75mm. By running the -12mm 16x10's, your wheel will actually be 13.75mm closer to the springs, making it more likely to rub with the 12"+ wide tire.
If you go with a 9" -12mm offset, it basically puts you right back at the stock clearance. I do believe a 305/70/16 (33x12.2) should work then.

Thank you. On further research I think I am leaning towards a 9 inch wheel with a -12 offset and a 295/75R16 BFGoodrich KO2 tire. I don't think I will have a issue with this combo??

I think that will look good and work great. Come back and post a few pics when you get all set up.
