I have a 2003 F250. All stock suspension. I would like to put wider tires on it. Does anyone know how wide I can go? Should I stay with the stock 17" rims or drop to 16"?
If you're willing to purchase 16" wheels, why wouldn't you purchase 17", 18" or taller? Is there a reason you'd want 16" wheels? For what would you use the truck? Would the wider tires be for looks or performance, on road or off?
315s will rub on the leaf springs when mounted on stock wheels and also most likely will not clear under a stock height truck...they will catch the fender and bumper.
i was looking at a kit that had listed for a stock height 250 16x10 rims with 315/75/16 tires, what do you think? Give this a try or stick with the stock rims and go to a 285?
