Rear power sliding window

Rear power sliding window
The rear power sliding window on my 05 6.0 F250 has started to open and close very slowly. I recently had my windows tinted. I checked track and can not see any obstruction. Anyone else had problems with their power sliders? Wondering if coincidence or if there is problem with window motor. Thanks

Does that on my 2006 F350 too; has for a long time. If I open it too far, it won't close unless I push in the window while pushing the button - a long stretch in a crew cab......
I think I put lithium grease along the bottom when it first became noticeable. Helped a little. I just only open it a few inches now; that lets in enough air and I don't have issues closing it.

Usually this is caused when the glass comes unglued from it's plastic holder on the bottom, this causes the glass to get kinked as it tries to move.
If this is the case, then you need to remove the rear window and re-glue it back together. If you don't, then eventually one of the cables will break and you will need to buy the motor/cable assembly which costs $250-$300.
If your glass is still attached tight to the bottom holder then you just need to clean the track good and spray some lube in it on a regular basis. I use silicone spray.
