Power Rear Slider

So the power rear slider isn't working too well on my F-250. It is an 2007, just turned over 36,000k, so out of warranty unless I can plead at the local dealer...symptoms are pretty slow opening, sometimes open 1/4 then others 1/2 and others full. Think it must be a motor that controls the cables. Any thoughts on where this motor is and how much a pain in the **** it is to do? Or take to dealer...how much? Thoughts or checks I can do? - Thanks

I had the same problem. I just picked up a can of white lithium grease, sprayed the cables and then operated the slider back and forth. I did that a couple of months ago and haven't had a problem since.

usally the glass comes unglued from the track. when you open and close the window see if you notice the window getting cocked in the track.

That white lithium grease did the trick! Problem solved. Thanks for the input...feel like I just made the connection on the Mr. Obvious show (Bob&Tom Show)
