'81 300 6 cylinder transplant into a '69 f100
I have a 81 6 banger and I am thinking about putting it into a 69 f100 I've had sitting around. I have been doing some reading and pondering on just what would be the easiest way to get it running. It has all these emissions lines that are broken or cracked and the smog pump has been removed. I know it runs more efficient with all that but it seems like a lot of trouble trying to get all those hooked back up. I think i'm going to have to get the tfi ignition module ( not sure the correct name). I would appreciate your thoughts. Maybe you've done it yourself or know someone who has done it before. What do you think would be the easiest route?
Thanks Again

Modules are identified by a plastic grommet located above where the wires feed out. The blue module was the most reliable.
Your 1981 dizzy will not have the mounting for a TFI module, which was a notorious POS!
10 or so years ago, the US Gov't ordered FoMoCo to recall over a million vehicles to replace the turds.

Thanks numberdummy for the information. I think I may have lucked out on the better one but it does look worn out especially from the bottom side where the silicon or whatever insulate they used is missing in places.
