stock front/rear 04 f350 dually suspension on 01 excursion?
i'm sure this has been posted before, but the stock leafs/blocks/shocks from my 04 f350 dually 4x4 would fit on an 01 excursion 4x4 v10? would it just make it ride like my truck does now, vs how the excursion rides stock (more spongy IMO, the super duty has a rougher ride to me)
my dads excursion suspension is SHOT and needs replacing, and i'm eventually going to lift my 04 dually, so i was thinking putting my old but still good (only 47k miles on my suspension) on his truck. also, will it lift his excursion any?

Excursion and superduty suspensions of the same generation parts swap just fine. Superduty rides 2 inches HIGHER than Excursion. Also, the superduty rear leaf springs need to be modified to remove the upper aux spring since it will ruin your rear A/C lines. DRW axles, steering components, wheels, etc. Are probably different from the SRW versions.

You have failed to mention exactly what springs the F-350 has, that will have an impact on what you and your dad should expect with those springs under his EX. What does your dually show for spring codes on the door sticker?

V/C codes under a V-10 EX should provide about 1.75" over stock ride height on the front. V code's 5200lb rating vs the stock C (front) code rating of 4300lbs.
The DRW C codes have a dual rating of 350/730lbs per inch of travel vs the stock EX G codes single rate of 430lbs per inch. So unloaded or with a lighter load the dually rear springs will provide a softer ride than stock but with extra weight loaded they will provide a much stronger suspension. You may want to do the typical "mod" to the rear C codes with the swap or just use the F-350's taller blocks to maintain the factory-ish rake.

The dually springs fit, however the large overload leaf on top or aux leaf, I don't remember the term has to come off, as well as the center pins need to be from a SRW truck.
Thats what I did with my 00 Ex in the rear and I went X codes in front. I gained 2 inches in the front and about 2 1/4 inch in the rear with using the F350 rear block.
