Cant find my gas filter -- help 2012

Wow
All over the web I hear- the 2012 has a gas filter and that it doesnt have a changeable one.. Well I bought the filter so where the heck does it go...

if memory serves me right, starting with the 2010s, they no longer have the fuel filter that normally sits about under the drivers seat. They only have the sock inside the fuel tank

The fuel filter on your vehicle is considered a "lifetime" item. In other words, it's lifetime until it needs replacement. In any case, the service manual states:

The fuel tank(s) has a fuel filter that is part of the Fuel Pump (FP) module and cannot be serviced separately from the FP module. For additional information, refer to Fuel Pump Module in this section.
