Race track moulding....anodizing trick
wanted to share a little something i came across by accident. I have a 79 ranger with racetrack moulding. was going to do alittle spruce up of my trim...I use a product call Solution Finish black trim restorer...I like it..use it on some of my vehicles. Thought Id try some on the rubber strip within the racetrack moulding....now my anodized pcs are original and in no way shine like new..Ive often thought of strippiing them and polishing them but seemed like alot of work. Well when i put some trim restorer on the rubber...i got some on the anodizing thinking nothing of it...wipe it off...well it had this effect on the trim...it really shined it up...wetted out the anodizing ..I dont know...but 3 weeks later it still looks way better....not new of course....but an amazing improvement...so I thought i share that...the picture is of after and my stuff was pretty hazy
