Sirius Traffic for Navigation
Anyone else having issues with their traffic data? I took my F350 into the dealership yesterday hoping they could show me how to get the traffic data to work on my navigation map. Unfortunately, I learned there is a known issue and they are working to find a resolution. It appears there is an issue with the antenna causing the traffic data not to be received.
While this may not be a problem in many rural areas, I depend on this feature every day when commuting for work. In the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, if you take the wrong route without seeing traffic data first, you end up stuck at a stand-still for over am hour in many cases.
I'm using Apple Maps as an alternative but as soon as my phone rings the map disappears. I hope they get this resolved quickly.

My traffic data works just okay, but I still rely on Waze daily.
Sirius radio is a 6 months trial, and traffic/fuel prices is 5 years. Although I have not been able to figure out where the fuel price data is.
I believe I am having an antenna issue as well. My radio "reacquires signal" about once every 5 miles. This does happen in the same places daily around light rail over crossings and power lines. My other satellite radios in other cars never have an issue.

5 years? That's pretty long to be free. Where did you get this info? Just curious and not trying to be a smart ***. That awesome if that's the case. When I bought my ram it was only a year. Uconnect was cool too. It allowed me to locate my truck and set destinations before I was even in the truck through the app. I wish I could do the with my ford. Unfortunately that too was only for a year.

The '15 Fusion we'll be trading in for our new SD has the nav system and the traffic/weather subscription is good for 5 years. Not getting the system on the SD, we'll just use Android Auto, but the subscription times are probably the same.
