Hedman header Help

I'm working on installing new hedman headers and a flow master exhaust on my 95 f350 with the 460 in it. I was able to install the passenger side no problem. I'm struggling installing the driver side. All of the bolts on the right side of the header tube seem to be rubbing and not wanting to thread. Before installing I chased all the threads to make sure everything was clear. I am able to connect the 4 bolts to the left or in front of the header tube. Does anyone have any suggestions or help? I would greatly appreciate it.

Insert the bolts into the holes before putting the header in place, leave a gap between the header flange and the head....thread them in a few turns a piece until they're all set.

I'm about to do this same project myself. Anything I should know before I start? Also I would love to see a video of how this sounds when done.

make sure they gave you the correct kit, I had to weld on a 02 sensor port on my why pipe. the advise from 89F2urd is the best. I would start with the driver since it was harder for me. I used a thread chaser to clean the threads in the block. The driver side has an EGR tube 90 degree pipe fitting. I broke it, and so do most people from my reading. I had to order a new one it was 199.26, if your state does't require it the plug it off from what I read.

I did the headers and a flow master 40 series exhaust, I have to say I am very disappointed int he sound. it is a little throatier but nothing compared to what I expected. I had a flow master 40 series on my 04 4-150 with the 4.6 and it was beast. was going to post up to see what people have done to get the noise this truck should make.
