I have a 2003 ford F150 with the 5.4litre triton engine just replaced intake gaskets and plugs the engine has 173000 miles on it an I was wondering what performance upgrades Are avalible for it such as the ford lightning truck the truck is a daily driver would like more power with out losing to much gas milage the truck is currently stock engine and exhaust wise any suggestions would be appericated. Of your serious about it and don't mind spending the $$ a gear swap is in order a perfect match will be 4.30 even 4.56 this will absolutely wake up your truck if you commute in city you may even gain mpg highway you might loose or stay the same in mpg. Absolutely the best bang for the buck after that forced induction. Good luck.
