59 F350 again.

So I have this 59 F350 I have been tinkering with. I put a 73 rear end I already had under it to eliminate the split wheels and busted drum problem that I had. I have a 79 3/4 ton 4x4 chassis and I'm thinking about putting the front end under it and adding power steering to it. Has anyone done this and am I crazy for wanting to try?

Is it a solid front axle? I have a friend with a 68 GMC pickup which he put a tube axle under the front. He did it cause he did a diesel conversion. But you'll want to add a brake booster and correct master cylinder. Also the brake balancing unit on the frame.
