I have a small problem with the headlight,drivers side. There is a clip, u shaped, that holds the assembly in. One is missing and it bounces . I can't find where to get replacements. Does anyone have a part number? I tried the aftermaket and can't find anything for this year and model. Thanks

 

Have you tried the dealer?? I think everything from about 2000 to 2009 used the same clip including the Crown Vics.

 

They're usually not to helpful for small things like that. I checked online/ebay and non of the stuff is compatible for 2001. I was hoping to get something from the aftermarket. I needed a small part for the lock assembly and they referred me to Advance Auto. Thanks for the reply.

 

Do you mean the ones, 2 per side that pull up to release the headlight. If it is then you need 4C3Z-13N020-AA , and hold on to your shorts because they are 13 bucks at the dealer.

 

Try NAPA for the clips........they can usually get a lot of stuff.

 

Just bought some from carquest. Take one in with you and look at the auto body/interior small parts. Everyone one of the auto parts stores should have some.

 

One other place to try. Places that specialize in automotive paints and auto-body supplies.
