65 f-251 flat bed

the original motor was lost to time and someone installed a 300 6 out of a 91 with the carb intake and exhaust on it. for now it is a one barrel carb with and electric pump becasuse there is no place for a mechanical pump it has a 4 spd manual trans it runs ok except it overheats after a few minutes. the radiator has a blob of jb weld in the center and two hose connections on the bottom with one blocked off. i've changed the thermostat and the water pump so i probably need a new radiator. i tryed to change the bottom hose to the drivers side but the hose wouldn't reach the water pump without a long hose i will try to take a picture with my cell phone and try to figure out how to put them online. i am not good at such stuff.

Are you trying to get us dazedandcofused. You were asking about a 390 and C6 in your other post, now you are asking about a 6 banger and a 4 speed. It is hard for older folks like me to keep up with lines in the road moving so fast.

1965 F250 Flatbed.

You typed this question in the wrong forum. This is 1967/72, you say you have a 1965 F251, so the question belongs in the 1961/66 forum.

btw: An F251 is an F250 with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 4,800 lbs.
