Yep, I went to the one in Virginia in 2005, had 300 vans there, have a lot of photos from the event, have an event coming up this weekend near me that I am going to, GSVR XII.
Its a collection of folks who are into vans that gather at a campground every year to celebrate everything vanning. Anybody gone to one? Was talking to several van owners at a car show that went to last years. They move it to a different state each year. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Yes, the nationals move around because different clubs host it, there are also regular events that happen every year, usually in the same place, as I said, I have been, theres games, a van show where trophy's are won for several different things.
Thanks Maples. Will contact the hosting club. I have several friends who tour in vans, would be fun to coordinate and hang. Festivals are the only time we get to together.

We had a band at GSVR Sat night, got them to play till midnight, booked them for next years event, and the Florida club was trying to convince them to come down to Florida and play at their event. My 73 Econoline got 2nd Ford and Best Classic this year, the Econoline that got 1st Ford had a nice custom paint job on it, I need to finish painting mine to cover the primer that was done after removal of the camper windows. Maybe next year my interior will be finished so I can focus on the exterior.
What was the Florida clubs name? Got a contact name? I work with several rockabilly and surf bands , my guys have been playing Billet Proof for several years at Big Daddies. Everybody has fun and would like to play more car shows and vintage drag race events.

I was wondering how the misspelling was corrected in the subject line… LOL. I thought the subject lines were not able to be edited.
The original poster should be able to amend the subject line as long as he can still edit the post. Have to press the "Go Advanced" button on the editor to do this.
