Emergency Flasher

Can someone direct me to where the emergency flasher is located on my truck tks

On my '77, it's on the right side of the steering column in front of the wheel...it pulls out and both the blinker lights should stay on on the dash

If you are talking about the flasher can, it's under the dash on the left hand side. There should be one for the blinkers and one for the hazards. You will probably have to shine a light and dig around a little, it is a black plug with a black and red wire I believe.

You mean the device that makes the turning signals flash for an emergency. Bottom of pic 3 and L/H side of pic 4.

Engage the hazard switch and feel up up under the dash for the one that is ticking.

Scroll down to the bottom of page to see the 4 way flasher. Notice in the pic above that the T/S flasher plugs into the back of the instrument cluster.

Both flashers are round with two prongs, but the 4 way flasher is a heavy duty unit, has a louder CLICK.
