Have you considered wrapping the wire bundle with self fusing silicone 'repair tape'?
As you stretch the tape it fuses with the last turn underneath it and in a day or so becomes all one piece.

I've used this stuff to repair condensate drains, replace the overmolded rubber grip on a nail gun and tightly bundle wires.

If you squirt some rtv between the wires at the beginning and end of your wrap, i don't think you could get a more hermetic seal.

Im trying to see if I can just find a total replacement. The replacement factory connectors I got from a boneyard isn't much better. Looking pretty sad.

Have you looked in the Motorcraft pigtail and connector catalog? (linked in the stickied tech tips)

Or just search the web for the pdf.
It comes up right away, but may be a slow download depending on your connection.

I found one. PN: 3U2Z-14S411-NNA The only one I could find in the catalog. I need the 8 and 12 pin. Male and female. Matching wire colors would be even better. But really, I'll still have "exposed" connections. So I was wondering if anyone might know of a more suitable replacement. I still want to be able to pull them apart if I need to.

They don't look too bad in that lighting.

What is the wire gauge?

I don't think Weather Pack goes to 12 pins, but I know Deutsch does

If I had to guess, 14. There is some bare spots on some wires, and they're just spinning around. IF, There was NO alternative, and if I took the time, I could probably rehab them. But until it comes to that, I'm looking for something more suitable or fit for the job. These are more like what you'd find in the cab.

I also have this issue, There is 6-7 wires all pressed together. How can I properly join them and seal the connection?

Tried pulling apart, but not happening.

Yeah, they are properly joined, they're welded.
You could try fluxing it real good and wicking some solder into that ground splice.

This may sound stupid but, Welded? With what? Glue? I don't see where or how. Looks like a high pressure crimp. What kind of heat would I need to flow solder over it? And how would I seal it if its all one piece?

Pressure creates heat, enough of a crimp and the wires start to fuse.

It's a ground, why does it need to be insulated?

Moisture (humidity) gets to copper after a while. Its very humid in Houston. And, I like all my electrical connections clean, tight, and sealed from any moisture to keep them working almost maintenance free. Even a ground I like to keep that way. I HATE chasing bad grounds. Done it to many times before.

Well, if there's solder in the joint you don't have to worry about oxidation IN the joint.
(the flux has cleared all that away)

I would probably paint the whole thing with a few coats of liquid electrical tape.
You can even get this at home depot.
