2014 seat filters

Could someone tell me how to get the seat filter out? I tried as the owners manual said with no luck.
Thanks,Larry

Slide the seat all the way forward towards the dash. Tilt the seat bottom as far forward and high as you can. From the rear floor board reach beneath the seat and turn the filter out, and it should be about 1/3 turn.

Is that what you followed? Only the filter element/screen should come out....NOT the entire assembly attached to the seat bottom.

My FX4 has heated and cooled seats...does that mean there is a filter?

Each seat has two filters. You need to un zip the seat back to get to the upper.

Been back there numerous times and never noticed the zippers. I took a look and could not see a filter, just some gauze wrapped around something at the top of the back.Would it look like the one under the seat? The back of the seat never worked well as far as cooling is concerned. Thanks again for the help.
