2015 explorer trany problem
Well this vehicle had 5,098 miles on it .
when a problem occurred (a unforced downshift then a slam into a up shift)
I took in to the dealer after this happened."no problem found" was the find
It now has only 10,198 when the next problem started .from park to drive a harsh slam into gear.
Take it to the dealer they change the trans control module ,doesn't fix the problem.take it back .They are told by ford hot line to replace the forward drive clutch and case an the seals through the entire tranny.parts on back order 2 weeks, get it back get ready for a trip.
One week goes by we take a trip visit our new grandchild.put about a 1,000 miles on it.hear a noise that sounds like a baseball card in the spoke trick of the old days.
we were stuck away from the original dealer at another dealer.more back ordered parts 3 weeks go by
they thought it was a front drive shaft ,changed that ,didn't fix it.
Informed me that it is internal to the tranny. more back ordered parts 2 weeks
I requested that they get a new tranny.ford hot line said no!
So I let them rebuild again an now I will lemon it .
I pick it up tomorrow.

Are you taking the dealer's word that Ford said no on the tranny replacement? Give the following site a try:
https://corporate.ford.com
Scroll to the bottom of the page and use the "contact us" link. Calmly explain everything you stated above and then ASK them if they can help or should you pursue a lemon law solution.
I've learned from experience that you should always take things further whenever a DEALER claims FORD said don't fix it.
