No idea what these are?????

I just picked up a slightly used 2012 F250 SD and found 2 of these in the back seat pocket. Does anyone have any idea what they are or do?

Thanks, John

My best guess is has nothing to do with truck but could be electronic animal repeller, used to make noise we can't hear. Seen one close to that was battery operated can repell rodents, etc

Open the battery compartment and see if there is any info inside.

my guess is a GPS transmitter. I found something like that tie wrapped under my drivers seat. mine was put there by my used truck dealer. when I asked him about it...he said I signed a consent form to have it installed and most of the lenders this particular dealer deals with requires it.

They look like a previous owner left their garage door opener in the truck to me.

Kinda of funny they'd be in the back seat area if GDO openers? Maybe for 2 doors but I wouldn't let the kids open and close for fun!
But that's just me.

Toy transmitters?

It doesn't have a visor clip on it like most door openers either. But you never know.

Must be a reason for the shape of them. Do they pop open? Maybe clues inside.

I looked inside and found nothing, no make or manufacture name. There are no buttons or anything to push. I'll try stopping by the Ford dealer to see if they have any ideas.

Certainly it looks like and RF transmitter to me as well. Likely for a gate or garage door. Why was it in the back seat? Well if it had been anywhere else they would have found them before they sold it!

I have no clue what it could be for. No buttons, no markings, no manufacture info, just a on/off switch. I love mysteries.

Can you track down the previous owner and ask them? Being in the back seat tells me maybe something from a kid's toy.
