Hey guys so I've started the rebuild of my 86 f150 and am wanting to drop a new carb on it. It's a 1986 f150 4x4 with a 302 the intake manifold and carb is off of a 351w. I'm looking to keep this truck simple any ideas?

 

Sorry to tell you this... 351 intake manifold will not fit on a 302 it's too wide. You can tell if it's a 302 by looking at the water pump and the block. If the head sets on top of the water pump its the 302 if not it's something else...

 

Is it fuel injected now?

 

no orginally it was EFI the previous owner converted it to a Carb Im not 100% sure what all he changed around to do so but he did haha

 

sorry i thought that was how he would have converted it ive owned for a few weeks and am still trying to decode what all he did thank you for the info!
