Front hub differances F100 F250
I have a set of warn front hubs that came off of my 65 F250. Would these bolt onto my 65 F100 front end? Both are closed knuckle D44 but I wonder if the F250 would have bigger shafts?
The 66 F250 is a 6800 GVW truck with a B5 axle code on the warranty plate.
The 65 F100 is a 5600 GVW truck with N 08 axle code.

The axle codes on the warranty plate - in this case - don't call out what the front driving axle is. But, they might interchange if both D44 axles are the 3M axle. F100 and F250 with 3M axle both used the
C6TZ-1104-B - Warn Mfg. Company - M167, M198 - manual locking hubs
It is just 6 allen screws and a snap ring to remove one - would be simple to remove one and try it on the other truck. I have a bunch of these warn hubs in their original Ford NOS boxes - Including the C6TZ-1104-F - Lock-o-matiic hubs. They are fairly rare.

One other thing to note. - free running hubs did not come on every truck. These had to be ordered or it had to be built with them. Otherwise, you got the hubs that were locked in all the time. That, of course, puts a lot of wear on the front driving assemblies even when not utilizing them, so a lot of people in that boat either bought Ford/Warn parts over the counter or went to an aftermarket brand like Mile Marker, etc.
Reduces not just wear and tear but gas consumption, too.
Warn originally started out here in Seattle and were one of those local companies everyone was proud of.
