wanting a larger rear view mirror (windshield)
not sure if this has crossed anyone else's mind before, but my 04 f350 has the standard rear view mirror (not the larger/thicker fancy heated one like my 01 excursion limited has) and it seems like i have just enough viewing angle from side to side, but up and down it seems like the mirror is too narrow to display the whole rear window in it without me moving my head/body up or down. i currently have it positioned so i can see out starting at the very top of the rear window, but it doesn't show the lower part of the window like i said, without me moving. i like seeing out of the lower part of the window as well because it shows the back quarter or more of the bed, and if i have something in there, like today i had my tile saw, i just like keeping an eye on it. so i'd like to upgrade to a larger rear view mirror. not sure if i want a clip on just for a quick easy fix, or something that replaces the mirror completely. i have a feeling the clip on will vibrate/shake. my excursion heated mirror is slightly taller, at about 2-1/4"", while my plain jane f350 one is a tad less than 2-1/8".
any ideas? i saw a few threads on this but most ended up with just adding a clip on mirror, but at least i know i'm not the only one that has wanted a larger rear view!
my only requirement is....i do NOT want a heated one my tint is dark and in my excursion sometimes the mirror gets darker and makes it hard to see out with the window tint.
i am thinking about just getting one of those large aftermarket ones that have the LCD monitor in it that is hidden when not in use. they seem pretty big and i could hook 1 of my 2 rear view cams to it, and the 2nd cam to my 7" in dash radio. 1 is for backing up and 1 is going to be positioned strictly for backing up to trailers. so if anyone has a mirror with a screen in it and has had good luck, let me know which one you recommend!
thanks!

Size wise this showed much more than i ever could need, but i do not like the curved glass. Good thing i bought local so i didn't have to deal with shipping it back, etc.
So i bought all these at pepboys lmao. Gonna see tomorrow which i like best then return the rest. Just couldn't adjust to that first curved mirror i bought. I like the flat glass much better.
