67 ford f100 fuel pump
Have a question for the experts. I am new to this kind of stuff but I have a symptom were the truck is turning over but no starting. I looked at the fuel filter and there is no gas present.
could that be a fuel pump problem? any assistance would be appreciated. This is a 67 Ford F100 w/352 engine.
Thanks,
Fred

It could be a piece of rust or debris blocking your tank to pump line or a dirty filter or a pump. Try blowing air back thru the carb inlet fuel line and listen for the sound in your tank then reconnect and try to turn it over, or disconnct the fuel line before it goes into your fuel pump and see if the gas dribbles out. That way you can rule out the pump. Good luck...

If it ends up being your pump replace it with a good more high dollar pump unless you like changing them out. I haven't had a cheapie FE fuel pump last longer than a yr1/2. Or even step up to an electric pump that you can hear your system pressurize. Also a nice little thing to have is a clear fuel filter somewhere you can see if it is flowing or not.
