Just joined the forum. Last week I purchased a 2001 SSV Excursion, I have to say I love the stripped out look and the exterior without cladding. Does not look like it has been worked hard at all with only 64000 miles and extremely clean interior. Was originally from Washington DC would love to know the original purpose. Anyway just wanted to say hi

My 04 is a SSV. The previous owner did a few mods to it and I've converted it from front bench to power buckets with console, since it's just my wife and me and we could use the extra interior storage of the console. Mine also had 64K on it when I bought it last Feb. It originally came from Arizona and is carpeted vice vinyl flooring.
64/65k miles seems to be when Uncle Sam unloads these rigs. Mine was an Army Corps of Engineers vehicle originally, it had 65k on it when I bought it and that extra thousand may have been from the drive up from AL where it was initially sold. Mine is an XLT with cloth, buckets, console, 3 rows and carpets. Nothing in my jack compartment except a jack.........
