Ok here it gos
Changed 7.3 after a shop told me it had low compression on 2 cylinders, after I took it home tore it down n found a pristine block with 2 bad injectors
So I got a box truck sitting around I got cheap 70kmi on it n swapped the 7.3 in into my 99 F450 and put all the 450 stuff on the E350 block
Fires rite up sounds great hit the pedal after some idling Nothing TP IVS
Swap peddle from another one of my 99s Nothing
IDM off internet TP IVS FIXED
Finish up odds n ends button it up n see there's no tranny fluid drain a few quarts no chunks, still red not burnt only ran 2 or 3 times for a few minutes
Fill w 17 quarts Merc V
D=4th no shifting manually shift to 2nd n I get 2nd shift to D get 4th
Drop pan no chunks just a little fuzz on the magnet
Check valves in valve bodies n accumulators no dirt moved freely with good resistance
Replace pan fill with 17 more quarts Merc V
STill LIMPED P1670 EF
Wondering if IDM wasn't such a good deal after all or am I having PCM issues?
Wiring is in great shape compared to some of my other 7.3s
Gonna move on testing wiring BUT
