Dorman VC gaskets have built-in UVCH's. Nothing to come loose and lifetime warranty.

I've installed LOTS of these and haven't had any problems yet.

I also have these. Love 'em and no problems here, either.

The same place the Motorcraft ones are made. ****ing China.... although the quality control that Ding Da Binduah in one factory might be better than Shin Dingaling does in another.

The quarters used for my. 50 mod were made in the USA. Been in there about 7 years.

Been using those since September 2012 myself and haven't had a problem with them.

I've replaced a bunch of failed OEM gaskets. At least one I bought new and installed myself... I've got a few here I want to dissect and try to figure out what's wrong with them.

Haven't replaced any of the Dorman's I've installed yet, but they won't cost anything if I do!

Jason, where are getting the gaskets from and do you have a part# by chance? I saw several different options at Rockauto. Do the factory plugs fit or do you have to splice the Dorman pigtail in?

Factory plugs fit. The gasket itself is all one piece, no connector to come loose under the valve cover.

if it had any other name than Dorman on it, I might consider it. I've never seen worse crap. Its almost a surprise when their name comes up and the part was actually acceptable or works. You have bigger nads than me; that was a total crap shoot.

I know it's Chineese but I have been running Dorman bellowed up pipes for over 2 years without issue. If Ford is choosing to pay China a fraction of the cost for them to build their brand and not pass the savings on to us then I just as soon give my money to Dorman. Track record tells the story on quality and if people are having good luck with them then I would be willing to try them. I have been accused of being a tightwad before though.

I've had them in an OBS truck at work for a couple years now. No issues with them at all so far.

I just installed one of these on my drivers side in a pinch. So far so good but it's only been installed for about 4000 miles.
