She just turned 3...what to buy her for her birthday?
300K miles is what I mean and I need to give her a decent maintenance makeover.
Here's what I'm thinking so far:
-Coolant flush (already have the Rotella HD coolant and 20 gals of distilled water in the garage waiting)
-brake pads/shoes (e-brake hardware)
-u-joints (any specif part numbers to buy?)
-buying Riffraf's ABS wheel bearing greasing blockoff and shooting the bearings full of good grease
-fuel filter (I change it regularly anyway)
what else ya'll recommend?

Unless you've been driving with the parking brake on, just adjust the e-brake. I'm still using my factory pads at 550k, even with a stick shift where I have to use it all the time.
I'll agree with Neal on brake fluid, power steering fluid and differential fluids. Maybe add the transmission and transfer case to the list too.
Personally I leave the u-joints and carrier bearing until they show a problem. The replacements never seem to last as long as the originals.
Don't forget to get a new set of shocks while you're at it.

-Good call on the caliper pins and brake fluid- will look into those as I'll be in there.
-Shocks were done 80K ago when I bought the truck.
-Will check on the diff fluid levels, but may wait on changing it out depending on time.
-No Hutch mod- I can get 32 gals consistently in the tank and can go to 34 if I wince a bit with the Low Fuel light on. I'm assuming 32 gals on average is good???
-No intake mods and no HP mods either except single shot 180cc injectors installed 30K ago. Replaced all the UVCH's when in there.
-Steering box replaced with a Redhead a while back and all steering is tight. Just installed new tires (Cooper Discovers) 4K ago and the fronts are wearing a bit on the outside tread. I can run my hand easily in one direction but feel the uneven lugs when running my hand the other way. I think it's a toe issue but can see where just standard turning causes this wear. I like the tires- beefy but not absurd.
-Dropped in a Ford reman 4R100 less than 20K ago so all trans and tranfer fluids are new. Haven't installed the Dorman fluid cooler yet...maybe add that to the list.
-I recently replaced all my power steering fluid...the hard way. Blew the pressure line when driving across Texas on Christmas eve last year. Was actually pulling into an Autozone to buy a new headlight bulbs (one was out) and I didn't want to play with the highway patrols looking for reason to pull folks over that night. As I pulled into the Autozone, the hose blew and I coasted/bumped up against the parking hump. Luckily they had the hose in stock and I replaced it within a hour. Here's the pic I texted my family explaining my tardiness- I said it was my Christmas miracle that it blew literally as I was pulling into the parts store (with an O'Reilly's across the street to boot!).

32 gals into a 29 gal tank? yea, id say thats good.
Huh. And I always thought we had 33 gal tanks as I never had fuel come back out and 32 gal fill ups was standard when I was right at the bottom of the fuel gauge. Every now and then when I'm pushing it, I can get 34 gals of fuel...or maybe all the diesel pumps in Texas are robbing me.

Ive always been under the impression that the short beds had 29 gal tanks. The most ive ever put in mine is 29.5 gals and I was riding E and on fumes and that was with the in-tank mods. Before i did the mods i could only get about 26 gals and it would kick off, but with the mods is when I could get the full 29.
PS. Nevermind, i didnt realize that you have a F350, which in all probability is a long bed, which has the larger tank. My bad.
