This panel looks like a good deal for the amount of work involved

Agree with Ross on this one. A basic quality restomod without those major changes would be much more desirable. JMHO, but once you alter the basic looks of one of these old trucks, you limit your market considerably. Just something about the original proportions of these old vehicles that make them desirable.

And what in the lords name is going on at the back? Looks only a mother could love...
Politically correct censorship can kiss my a$$: They completely ruined that poor truck. Uglier than all heck.

The chop does change the feel of the truck. That looks to be a pretty good price though.
I think if you repaint it, the truck would look a lot better.
Lots of quality workmanship. That's the trouble with modifying a truck to suit your tastes. It's precisely that, your tastes.
I never have been a big fan of chops, sometimes they look good, but not too often for me.

My negative attitude towards chop tops is one of practicality: I have enough trouble fitting into 95% of cars today, why make my truck hard too?

I'd say it looks like a Pinto hatchback from the rear but that would be an insult to Pinto hatchbacks. I could live with the chop, rather nicely done but the rear doors on these are part of their distinctive look.
