#22 fuse blows

Hey I have a 1994 f250 7.3l powerstroke the #22 fuse blows everytime the key is turned I have already unplugged the fuel bowl heater and it worked for a month or so now it's happening again and it's blowing the fuse everytime does any one have an idea what it could be? is my pcm burned out and it cranks but I have no wait to start light anymore and help would be greatly appreciated I'm stuck in a bush camp

Your going to have to find the short. Fuse 22 powers the pcm as well. By the hpop reservoir there is a wiring clip that goes to the icp,ipr, fuel bowl heater, and water in fuel light IIRC. Unplug it and see if the fuse blows. You truck won't run with it like that but it will tell you if the wires running below the fuel bowl have rubbed through.

Is it the one im pointing at 5he blue one ? Just want to make sure cuase i only have 2 fuses left and im 3 hr in the bush so i need to make sure its the right one and how full should the hpop oil level should be ?

My fuse still blew can the pcm blow that fuse ?

Sorry I wasn't clear enough. The harness you will be looking for goes from the bowl heater under the bowl and up the other side where it connects into the main harness. There should be a multiport connector either Close to the main harness or inside it. Sorry I don't have a pic and I modified my harness for efuel. Ie no more of that stuff

The fuel filter heater is the most likely suspect. It's a single blade terminal connector going into the driver's side of the fuel bowl. Disconnect it and try again. You don't need the heater.

OP said he disconnected the heater in the first post I think.

Make sure that fuel bowl heater plug isn't shorting out on the fuel bowl, or anything else.
