Hey everybody
I'm new to the Escape forums, but have been an FTE member for several years, in two different truck sections, and in our state of North Carolina.
My wife drives an 08 Escape XLT, only vehicle we've ever bought new. I'm basically **** on how I keep our cars and trucks running and looking.
I introduced myself to a Meguairs Clay Bar Kit this last weekend, and finally finished going over the entire thing with a good coat of wax, and have the outside looking better than it has in years, literally.
Her Escape has the cloth interior in it. And I'm sure a lot of you know that anything wet, that touches that cloth stains.
There are water spots on seats, a couple of mystery spots that nobody know what they are or where they came from.
Long story short, is there anything that will remove these stains, or at least lighten them up? Well short of recovering it all.
Thanks in advance.

Interior stains on cloth seats are something nobody has figured out an answer to.
I'm tempted to try a good steam clean, but I think the problem is with the padding underneath the cloth. If dirt/dust have settled through the cloth into the padding, moisture (even a very humid day) could cause spots.
Steam cleaning *could* remove the spotting, but I fear the drying time would be long enough for spots to reappear. I too as well as many have been looking for a cure for those unsightly spots and stains.
