Leveling kit ?
Has anyone tried a leveling kit on a 91 f150?
I just put 30" Pro-Comp Mud tires on my 91 lariat w/351 4x4 and i have no need to go bigger,However my truck looks like a really fat guy is sitting on the hood its a good 2-3" lower in the front than the back.
I would really like a lift but since im not in need of bigger tires theres just no need and i do think if the front was level with the back it would look better,What is involved?Just some stronger front spring's?
So if anyone has tried a leveling kit or has any info on these let me know.
Thanks

The leveling coils will raise your front end 2 - 2½" you will need to get correct camber adjuster and alignment. Coils are around $120.00 and alignment around $200-250.00 depending where you go. It will actually improve your ride characteristics a little. If this is all the height you want yor vehicle then you wont be sorry. Good Luck!

I have just put in leveling coils, they have been in for couple weeks but I don’t drive much, they only have 30 miles on them.
The reason I’m telling you this is because I just bought a 6-inch lift, and they’ll have to go. When I put in a lift.
Make an offer and, they’re yours.
Check out my gallery I have pics of them; also I bought new shocks, only for the front, but had to buy 4 because of the quad setup. And these will be up for grabs too. Only 30 miles on the shocks too.
(Sorry Ken)

The shocks will be the perfect length; I have the stock replacement in mine.
The quad shock was an option on the f-150's and standard with the off road package.
I don’t know of any kit to make it quad, but I’ve heard you can swap out the single shock towers for the dual shock towers, you’d have to find them in the junkyard.
Well I’m going to put my lift on when it warms up around here, witch may be another month and a half.
If you want to wait that long, if not you could buy new ones.

You might want to look at another option. Look for the topic "remount the coil spring tower" in the supsension, tires, and wheels topic and you will find tip from me on how to lift your front suspension about 2 inches safely without the need of new shocks, coils, and you might possibly get away without longer brakelines.
