just an update. i have decided to go with the 445 prison break kit.

That is what I did. I hope to start mine for the first time this weekend.

You have a lot of headroom with that bottom end. Over time you can get crazy with cam, heads, and carb.

Sorry didnt realize I had new posts two months ago. I'm going with stock ported heads with 62004 voodoo cam. Freshman headers, off dual port intake street demon 750 carb, and a unique dizzy.

445 WITH 62004 CAM is going to be one hell of a motor .
you know heads need machining to use with the 62004 springs
what Compression ratio did you decide on ?
I did a Desktop dyno sim with the 62004 and 445 with 10.5:1 Numbers were crazy!
let me see if I can find it

that was with Edelbrock Aluminum heads ,performer RPM intake 750 cfm carb and Headers

Yes the heads are at the machine shop now. Cr will be 10.7:1 after all machining. That is a pretty wicked dyno.i know I will have less without the heads but should be good enough.

I love 471 Tq at 1000 rpm !! even if DD5 is 10% on the high side still over 400Tq just off idle .
