I made a really cool find under my 73 F100 today
I've been doing some heavy duty cleaning on my pickup with my pressure washer the past couple weeks and today I spotted something very interesting. It appeared to be an old pill bottle(or something like it) wrapped up in electrical tape and metal wire which was holding very firmly on the frame.
After much unwrapping I opened it to find what I'm pretty sure is an original key to the ignition and a copy to the side compartment! The key fits perfectly, how cool is that???
Many thanks to the original owner lol

last year one of the local kids stopped by with a ranger he just bought, asked me to look at the stereo because only one speaker was working.
the druggie who once owned it decided a good place to store his stash was behind the driver side speaker.
i found 3 hypodermic needles and a container of black tar heroin before i plugged the speaker in and called the local pd.
we did a good look around the cab to see if anything else was in it before the pd took the drugs and needles to dispose of.
