Project tow pig.

I currently have a 94 crew cab long bed 4x4 F350. It has a 460/E4OD in it right now. This is the truck.

Picked up a donor 96 F250 4x4 with a 7.3 Powerstroke, and a ZF-5 speed. This is the donor truck.

So I imagine you can figure out what's happening here. Lol. Got the engine and transmission out of the donor truck yesterday.

I'll keep you guys updated with the progress on this!

Rebuilt the ZF 5-speed this evening. Wicked wheel, and TS 6-position chip came in today as well.

The little gear on the edge of the case is out of my old Mustang. It's a G-Force T5 3rd gear. Made me laugh like hell how big the ZF 5-speed gears are.

Thanks man! It's a big project, but I'm really excited about it! Still have a ton of work ahead of me though. Lol.

Installed the Wicked Wheel in the turbo today after work. Also bolted the transfer case back up to the transmission.

Donor truck is pretty much stripped of the parts necessary for the swap. Pulling the blue truck into the garage tomorrow to start getting the front end apart over the next few days.

Got the dash out today, swapped dash harnesses, swapped the pedals. Truck has the correct amount of pedals now. Lol. Also mounted the gauges. Got a pyrometer, and boost gauge. Swapped the transmission tunnel plate for the manual while I was in there.

Well, the engine, transmission, shifter, front driveshaft, rear fuel tank, and fuel lines are all in the truck. Chassis harness had to be extended too, since it came out of an extended cab truck.

Also, the forward half of the rear driveshaft needs to be extend 6.25", since the 5-speed is shorter than the automatic. Transmission mount is in a different location too, so I had to use the trans crossmember out of the green truck. Fortunately, the frame was already drilled for it.
