so long and thanks for all the fish

I did it, she's gone. My buddy wanted a big boy truck, and I wanted something newer and more comfortable. I will miss the 'ol 7.3, but the guy it's going to can be just as **** as me, so I know it's going to a good home and will continue to be well taken care of.

I replaced my PSD with a 2013 F-150 SuperCrew, 5.0, 4x4, tow package and luxury package. I am very happy with it so far!

I just wanted to say thanks to everybody that has offered help to me over the years. This is a really great forum! It won't take much convincing to get the new owner to join y'all.

Take care!

Glad she went to a good home. You don't have to be a stranger Justin. You are one of the "originals" posting when I first logged on. There are getting to be fewer and fewer of you guys....

Well TBH I've always kind of been a lurker. But this is without a doubt the best group of guys on the internet with these trucks.

I've got some stock parts he didn't want that I need to try and sell, but I will definitely try to check in every now and then too.

Be careful with cylinder 4 warping. The symptoms are odd noises, ticking, tapping, and knocking. Big problem!

Good luck!

DOH!

If old green is ever put to pasture, that would be the same thing that would replace it.

The new F-150s are butt ugly, but the 2012/2013 are great looking trucks. congrats!

Wow, I think the new ones are beautiful. I saw one the other day that was flat gray on the top 1/3 and white on the bottom. I may emulate that paint scheme on my Superduty one day.

they are, except for the face.

don't know what they were thinking with those headlights. maybe they will grow on me like the 2008 F-250s did.

Good luck!
42k miles and no strange noises. It is super quiet, but I'll definitely keep my eyes and ears open.

They look more like a Toyota to me now. Of course the sad part is the 2017 models will share the F150 cab, so the Toyota look will migrate to the Super Duty soon.

If I start driving everywhere in reverse, will that work my truck back to new again?
