Crossroads...

Greetings,

I've been off for a while, as we've been dealing with a variety of messes here. Long story short...I've sold my 03 F250 SD, 7.3, and currently looking for a replacement truck. Trying to find something decent ( Ford) seems to be a PITA as of late.
I have run into a nice "little" 94 standard cab XLT - 5.0, 4X2 with 91k on the odo. Been maintained...has new paint, runs fine...straight. About the only mechanical issue with it, is the tank switch ( kills the motor when switching). Not the end of the end of the world...but was curious to know everyone's opinion of the vehicle overall.
In a nutshell, it's a FL truck, no rust, straight, interior is clean, and I'm not looking to haul a house. Just a nice "DD".
Would you think the truck is worth 4k ( I know it's a lot to ask without seeing it ) And for those familiar, are there any apparent issues with that particular model year? I believe it has the E4OD trans.
I'll see if I can ge t a pic loaded up.

Thanks for your time and help regarding.

Nice looking truck. These Florida trucks do tend to be priced a bit higher than normal but that's because they are so clean and rust free.

The nice thing about the 94 is that there are so many in the local pick and pull so fixing her is relatively cheap. Tank switch shouldn't be too bad.

She will tow more than you think and for a daily driver I think you'll like her. I had a 01 SD 7.3 so you'll probably turn the key and wait a few seconds before cranking like I still do ha ha ha. I like my 95 4x4 XLT Super Cab.

Haha...too funny, and I bet you're 100% right. Did it after every shift when getting off duty from the firehouse.
If I had one "complaint" it would be that it's not 4wd. I'm a Bronco fan, but man they are tough to find in decent shape. I smacked a deer in my 96...Oddly on my way home from deer hunting. I miss that truck
