Dp tuner and wastegate actuator tube??

Hey guys, just got my DP tuner and and was wondering if it's ok to leave the wastegate tube plugged into a clamp? Is this going to create too much boost for stock intake plenums? I believe the highest boost level that I have reached is about 24 PSI.

I don't think you will have to worry about the plenums. However, the boots and boot clamps may be the weak point if they are original...It will scare the heck out of you the first time you blow one.

Did Jody leave the commands to defuel at "x" PSI in the tunes, or did he remove them?
If he left them then you will not likely see above 24 PSI unless you install a boost fooler...you'll then have to install a separate boost gauge...you will not be able to rely on the PCM. If he removed them then you could see more boost than that.
Are injectors and turbo stock?

Injectors and turbo are stock. I'm not sure if Jody deleted commands or not. I looked in the command section on my screen and there is nothing there , so i guess he did. The boots are all new Riff Raff

You will be fine to leave it plugged. The stock turbo with stock injectors won't see much more than 30 PSI, if that. You are good.

Awesome thanks! Putting in s and b intake later. This truck really grew a set instantly! Can't believe what a difference the tuner makes, love it

They don't call it "Pemagrin" for nothing. I STILL look at my truck and smile when I walk up to it and it's been almost 8 years since I first put a DP Tuner chip on it.

Stock sticks, stock turbo, red line and other air mods, and back before I yanked the DP out of there:

That's about where I was similar set up. Then I went WW Gen I and it was 26ish. Then with the WW Gen I and 160 30's, man look out easily 35PSI. No wonder that turbo didn't last long after that...

Good idea..if you like the power level you are at now. I would at least go with 160/stock nozzles if you are going to be in there anyway, but maybe that is just me.
