Hey guys first post! I've been wanting to join this forumn for a while and I finally decided it was time. So I have a 78 f150 and I am putting was coast mirrors on it off of my 78 f250. They line up to the door contour perfectly, but I need the anchors to go into the door that will hold the mirror. Does anyone know where I can get them? My friend got them from sears, but that was 3 years ago and that sears is now closed. Tractor supply, LMC truck, everywhere I have looked I can't find any. I even checked the sears website and went through all their listed hardware. All advice appreciated! Thanks!

 

You're referring to threaded rivets.. also called 'nutserts' or 'threaded inserts'.

Ace Hardware carries 'em. Jeg's and Summit sell kits. They're very handy for blind panels... ya know, where there is no or limited access to the back side.

Google it.

 

Carefully pop of the door panel go with regular lock washers and nuts or self locking nuts for the bottom hdwr...As far as the T bolts for the top bracket?
