I took a good look around my shop but I didn't see the stock orange reflectors for the mirrors anywhere. I think I've been getting better at not collecting so much stuff, so they probably were throw away.

Thanks anyway! I appreciate you looking for me. What I might do is pop them black plastic pieces out and paint them Vermillion Red to match the truck, along with the mirror caps.

If you still want some I have a set of reflectors kicking around somewhere. You can have them if you pay for shipping. I couldn't stand the amber reflectors on my black truck so I bought a set of black inserts for an XL.

Yeah If you have them and are willing to send them to me, I'm interested. I'll PM you with my address, and if you could respond with your address and shipping costs. Thanks I appreciate the offer!
One question about the trucks that have these reflector strips: Are they just reflector strip, or is that also a lens for the turn signal?

It's just a reflector. However if you carve out the backside and get the LED strip lights sold at Walmart, and any parts store, and in your case run enough wire to tie the light strip into the turn signals you can make them a repeater turn signal light. But stock it's just a reflector.

Thanks Russ, I appreciate the compliment! I'm pretty pleased too with the way it's looking! I've been real happy with this truck so far, it seems like Ford really put a lot of thought into engineering it. It seems like they really went out of their way to correct a few of the design flaws that were inherent to the 2004-'08 trucks, without creating any new ones. (Not that the '04-08 was a bad truck, but like anything else, it had its inherent flaws; instrument panels going bad, fuel pump driver modules corroding prematurely, 5.4 Liter...) Whatever new flaws were created, such as the issues with the early Ecoboost and 5.0's, or the EPAS; Ford's engineers really tried to correct those as quickly as possible. I've seen a thread where this generation does have an issue with the rocker panels rusting out prematurely. For that reason, I've already coated my undercarriage in Fluid Film once, and will continue to do so annually.

Thanks Alex, I'll keep that in mind
One of the reasons I ask was for State Inspection issues. But if there's no light there from the factory, it won't be an issue. If PA laws are anything like Virginia laws concerning vehicle lights, it could cause some issues for me next March, if those were turn signal lenses and I didn't have lights in there.
