Which dana is this?

Looks like a D44, but a better picture would, help

Really hard to tell my just looking at the pumpkin portion. Look at the steering knuckles. If there is a big single nut on the top where the knuckles pivot it has ball joints and is a D44. It if has 4 bolts and a top hat looking thing on the passenger side it is a D60 with kingpins.

K if Dana 44 what gear ratio could it be? Or how can I tell

Axle ID tag located under two of the bolts that retains the inspection cover to the housing, but...by now, many of these tags are missing.

Just open the cover and look at the markings on the gear set to see what ratio it is, no reason to guess.

Much easier method is this.

1) Lock in both front hubs and jack up one wheel off the ground.

2) Turn the tire by hand one full revolution and count how many times the driveshaft turned.

3) Multiply driveshaft rotation by 2 (3.50 gears will get you 1 3/4 rotations of the driveshaft and 4.11s will get you just barely more than 2 rotations of the driveshaft).

Look at the steering knuckles...mount with ball joints ='s D44, mounts with kingpins ='s D60.
